A short  brewery heritage and beer tour

This short, easy walk around the old East End takes in numerous brewery heritage highlights of the area with the surviving remnants of Mann’s Albion Brewery, Charrington’s Blue Lion Brewery and Tilney’s Alba Brewery as well as great views of Truman’s and a host of intriguing back streets and parks. It finishes with a visit to a contemporary brewery, with a drink included.

Starting point is Shoreditch High Street Overground station and finishing point is Bethnal Green (London Underground Central Line and Overground).

The tour will go at an easy pace with a maximum of 15 people. Total walking is approximately 3 km/2 miles with a duration of 2.5-3 hours.

In summer, this runs as a weekday evening tour starting at 1830. In winter, it’s a Sunday morning event starting at 1100.
